Mac time

I am officially a Mac owner. Yes, I got a new laptop, and it is a Mac. However, I'm using my husband's desktop PC to type this blog. Why do you ask? Because I'm afraid of messing up my Mac.

I mean, eventually, I'm going to be a professional-i'm-cooler-than-you-look-at-me-with-my-mac person, but right now, I'm still in PC mode. I'm still enjoying knowing what the hek I'm doing on here and how to get it done.

I will say this though; I did figure out how to play around with the camera and use the effects like 'squeeze', 'bulge', 'black and white.' let's just say they are some pretty hilarious pictures out there of me and charlie with red faces from laughing so hard.

Perhaps I'll post those soon...of course that would require me getting on my Mac and taking time to figure out how to use it. :)

Mocha Club

I wanted to share something really cool I'm doing to help Africa and I want you to check it out too. We have so much here sometimes, I think it's good to be reminded of that so that we can be thankful for what we have and aware of all that others go without. Sometimes it seems like there is no where to start, especially when you're talking about Africa and all the needs there. I like that Mocha Club has kept it simple because complex answers are usually solved simply.

So, Mocha Club is this website where you give up $7 a month - the cost of 2 mochas - to support a project in Africa. For example, $7 can provide clean water to 7 Africans for one year.
